SOLAR PV INSTALLATION
The 5-Day Solar PV Design & Installation course provides a thorough understanding of the unique aspects of Solar PV systems design and installation. It covers the importance of system sizing, component selection as well as good design and installation practices. This hands-on course includes:
- The science of Solar and how it works
- Electrical basics, system components; inverters
- Mechanical attachments including roof, charge controllers, batteries, monitoring pole and ground mount
- Wire sizing, system bonding and grounding
- Site evaluations
- The business of Solar
- Workplace safety
Participants that pass the 5-day Solar PV training get the opportunity to challenge the NABCEP Associates Degree Exam as an additional North American certification valid in both Canada and the USA.
