Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce Education Grant
Celebrating Local Success: Chamber to Award 2026 Education Grant from Endowment Fund
The Chamber is proud to announce the awarding of the 2026 Education Grant from its Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce Endowment Fund, held in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies.
This grant marks a meaningful milestone in our commitment to supporting local economic development, entrepreneurship, and workplace advancement right here in Cranbrook.
A Legacy That Supports Local Talent
Back in 2019, the Chamber launched this endowment fund with an initial investment of $10,000. The goal? To provide a perpetual, annual grant that empowers individuals connected to Chamber members to pursue business-related education at the College of the Rockies.
Fast forward to today, and we are thrilled to see that vision come to life.
“The members of the Chamber have created and contributed to this fund, and the credit belongs to them,” says Stacey Brensrud, Executive Director of the Cranbrook Chamber. “We’re incredibly proud to support education that directly fuels Cranbrook’s business community. This is just one example of the numerous ways that our members continually give back to Cranbrook.”
Who Can Apply?
The grant is open to:
- Owners of Chamber-member businesses
- Immediate family members of Chamber-member business owners
- Individuals recommended by Chamber-member businesses
- Individuals recommended by the Board of a Chamber-member non-profit organization
Recipients must apply the grant toward a business-related academic program, continuing education, or trades/industry-related course at the College of the Rockies. The funds must be used within 12 months of being awarded.
