SANDY ZEZNIK NAMED AS 2022 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR

January 3rd, 2023, Cranbrook, BC. The Cranbrook Chamber announce the recipient of the 49th annual Citizen of the Year Award.

Sandy is a retired teacher/principal and district principal. She is a tremendous community volunteer and even Co-chaired the 2018 55+ games (Kimberley/Cranbrook). Sandy loves to travel and is an active Dragon Boat paddler.

With so many outstanding things said in her nomination and supporting letters, it’s hard for us to choose only a few words to share!

SANDY’S NOMINATION CAME WITH RESOUNDING SUPPORT

Among many local organizations, non-profits, and community groups, Sandy’s name was also held in high regard as a Council Advisor for the Seniors Advocate, British Columbia.

Sandy’s capacity has allowed her to display community excellence among so many organizations:

The Citizen of the Year celebration will take place as an afternoon event early February 2023. Ticket & event details are to be released online & on eventbrite shortly.
