April 24, 2012 – The Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a workshop on “How to Measure and manage your Organizations Carbon Footprint
” on Tuesday, May 8 at the Heritage Inn.
The three and a half hour workshop is designed to give participants an introduction to measuring, tracking and reducing corporate greenhouse gas emissions.
Workshop participants will receive a step-by-step workbook with examples and exercises so you can always refer back to the instructions. Access to live online webinars for follow-up support and Q&A and a 10% discount on an annual subscription to Gobi’s online carbon footprint software.
Dr. Joe Kelly, Founding Partner, Gobi Carbon Management Solutions is the workshop Leader. Dr. Kelly has extensive experience in natural resource and environmental projects, and is well-versed in climate change issues and strategies. He teaches university courses on environmental and climate stewardship, has authored numerous articles on climate change, and has presented at conferences around the world. He holds a PhD in Resource and Environmental Management.
