Columbia Basin Trust Programs Expanded

Columbia Basin Trust has recently expanded programs to “reflect the needs of current needs of business.”  These programs include:

The Summer Works Program

The Summer Works Program provides small businesses with a wage subsidy to hire full-time high school and post-secondary students during the school summer break.

Training Fee Support

This program helps unemployed and underemployed people, and those temporarily laid off due to COVID-19, take short-term courses, online or in-person, that help them secure employment. This program provides up to $1,000 for tuition or $7,500 for a specialized training bursary.
