$2400 and 30 Hours of Free E-Commerce Advisory

Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP) is a federally funded program that gives *$2400 + 30 hours of one-on-one consultation with a student e-commerce advisor to businesses in Canada. This program will run until 2024.

*The $2400 is to be put towards e-commerce upgrades.

Run by Alacrity Academy, offering e-commerce training to all student e-commerce advisors via their online learning portal, meaning that the student advisors who you will connect with have all recently received training in the most relevant subjects and strategies relating to e-commerce.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • CDAP is a federally funded program that gives $2400 and 30 hours of one-on-one consultation with a student e-commerce advisor to businesses in Canada. The $2400 is to be put towards e-commerce upgrades. 
  • Businesses fill out a quick application (takes 10 minutes) and hear back about whether they are eligible for funding within 1 week.
  • Businesses must be for-profit, incorporated in BC, have a minimum of 1 paid employee.
  • CDAP will be running for the next three years. 
  • Alacrity Academy also offers e-commerce training to all student e-commerce advisors via our online learning portal, meaning that the student advisors who we connect with businesses have all recently received training in the most relevant subjects and strategies relating to e-commerce.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Business Applicants Must Meet All of The Following Eligibility Criteria:

  • A for-profit business (including for profit social enterprises and cooperatives)
  • A registered or incorporated business
  • A consumer-facing business
  • A business that can be accessed by customers or provides in-person services to customers
  • A business with a minimum of one employee (other than the business owner)
  • The business’s sole or primary operations are located in B.C.
  • Does not currently have digital technology or requires digital technology improvements

Businesses Ineligible for Application:

  • Corporate chains, franchises, or registered charities
  • Representatives of multi-level marketing companies
  • Real estate brokerages and sales agents
