NEW OPPORTUNITY: COTR launching co-operative education!
College of the Rockies will be launching work-integrated learning (WIL) as a component of many of their programs in summer 2022.
Co-operative education provides students with the opportunity to work in an industry related to their program of study. Study terms are separated by a period of paid, relevant work, up to 4 months in duration. As a potential employer, you can help shape the development of the region’s future employees while students benefit from learning from industry professionals.
What are the benefits of partnering with the College of the Rockies to hire co-op students?
Flexibility – Students can help initiate new projects, complete existing projects, or provide relief during peak periods
Higher retention – Many employers hire former co-op students in full-time positions – translates to lower recruitment and training costs and higher employee retention
Energy and ideas – Enthusiastic students bring new ideas to your workplace
Community relations
